The de Havilland Mosquito, known for both its speed and use of formed plywood was a warbird from World War II aviation. As of most recently, the plane was restored in New Zealand by Avspecs for warbird collector Rob Lewis. While having gone through a resurrection process, the plane to this day still has its original Merlin engines. Presented at Oshkosh 2019, the plane showcased its speed and versatility and was honored by winning a Lindy Award.
